The American Indian Festival is in its 25th year as a celebration of the unique culture of American Indian peoples for Native students and their families to come together and enjoy a day of teaching youth and the surrounding communities their way of life that has be passed from generation to generation for hundreds of years. The council is committed to keeping the culture and heritage alive and to teach the non-native people that we are alive and live in all communities and try to break the Hollywood stereotype of American Indians as well as educate our students to the importance of living in two worlds and to take the best of both to be successful.
