Misty Dawn Spicer-Sitzes

Misty Dawn is a member of the team at TESA Collective (Toolbox for Education and Social Action). Misty Dawn is cofounder of the Los Angeles Co-op Lab and co-podcaster for Synergy Airwaves (dot org). They’ve done work with great organizations such as: East LA Community Corporation, Black Worker Center, SCOPE, ROC-LA, St. John’s Trans* and GNC Health Clinic, The Bridge Program, The UCLA Labor Center, Building Allies, The Urban Environmental Policy Institute, LA Waterkeeper, Q Youth Foundation and Right to the City. MD went back to school after more than 15 years in the restaurant industry, earning a BA in urban communities and environment in 2014 and an MA in urban sustainability in 2015 from Antioch University Los Angeles.
