Faye Ginsburg
Faye Ginsburg is David Kriser Professor of Anthropology, and co-founder with Mara Mills of NYU’s Center for Disability Studies; she directs the NYU Center for Media, Culture, and History. She is the author or editor of four award-winning books, and her 2024 book Disability Worlds is co-authored with Rayna Rapp. An adviser for the ReelAbilities Film Festival since its inception, she is in her second decade as president of the Familial Dysautonomia Foundation.
