Last month, we presented some cold, hard facts about gender inequity in comics, and here’s the deal: women, trans folk and non-binary gender creators make up 46 percent of the industry – but only get about 10 percent of the slots available for publishing work. If you’re lucky enough to get that work published, the money adds up fast! But if it doesn’t: you might be in for a dangerous trek.
