Jeffery Klaehn

Jeffery Klaehn holds a Ph.D. in communication from the University of Amsterdam and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Strathclyde. His writings on the Propaganda Model have been published in the European Journal of Communication, International Communication Gazette, Sociology Compass, Journalism Studies, Synaesthesia: Communication Across Cultures and Media Theory. He has edited or co-edited seven books, including Filtering the News: Essays on Herman and Chomsky’s Propaganda Model; Bound by Power: Intended Consequences; The Political Economy of Media and Power; and The Propaganda Model Today: Filtering Perception and Awareness.
