Timothy R. Bussey

Timothy R. Bussey, Ph.D. is the assistant director for the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Kenyon College, where he specializes in supporting LGBTQ+ students. He is a recent graduate of the Department of Political Science at the University of Connecticut, and his doctoral dissertation focused upon the histories of exclusion facing queer and transgender persons in the American military and intelligence communities from World War I to present. His research interests are LGBTQ+ politics, LGBTQ+ educational support and queer military history.
