Ron Seely

Until he retired in 2013, Seely was an award-winning reporter for the Wisconsin State Journal. After retiring from the newspaper, Seely worked for three years with the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism. Seely is now a freelance science and environment writer and a senior lecturer in the Department of Life Sciences Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has won numerous state and national awards for his journalism, including the Wisconsin Press Association’s award for environmental reporting, the American Chemical Society’s national science writing award, the prestigious James T. Grady—James H. Stack Award and the Sierra Club’s David Brower Award.
