Renée Watson

Renée Watson is an author, educator and activist. Her young adult novel, Piecing Me Together, received a Newbery Honor and Coretta Scott King Award. She is the founder of I, Too Arts Collective, a nonprofit housed in the brownstone where Langston Hughes lived and created.
