Paul N. Van de Water
Robert Greenstein is the founder and President of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. He is considered an expert on the federal budget and a range of domestic policy issues, from anti-poverty programs and various aspects of tax policy to health reform and Social Security. He has written numerous reports, analyses, book chapters, op-ed pieces, and magazine articles on these issues.
Edwin Park is Vice President for Health Policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, where he focuses on Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and issues related to federal health reform.
He also analyzes federal tax policies related to health care, state regulation of the private health insurance market, and issues related to low-income Medicare beneficiaries, private plans in Medicare, and prescription drugs.
He has testified before Congress, been interviewed on NPR and CNBC, and has been cited in media publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The Los Angeles Times.
Paul N. Van de Water is a Senior Fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, where he specializes in Medicare, Social Security, and health coverage issues.
Previously he was Vice President for Health Policy at the National Academy of Social Insurance. From 2001 to 2005 Van de Water served as Assistant Deputy Commissioner for Policy at the Social Security Administration, where he managed the agency’s policy analysis, research, and statistical activities. From 1999 to 2001, he was Associate Commissioner for Research, Evaluation, and Statistics at Social Security.
