Luke Kemp

Luke is a third year PhD candidate at the Australian National University (ANU), Research Fellow with the Earth System Governance Project and Research Associate with the Free University of Berlin. He holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (Honours- First Class) from the ANU. His PhD research focuses on how to fit international environmental governance to new geopolitical conditions, particularly the rise of major developing countries and the challenge of attaining US leadership. Luke is also a passionate environmental advocate who is involved with both the Major Group of Children and Youth (MGCY) and the youth constituency of climate negotiations. He is regularly involved with international negotiations on climate change and other environmental issues.
