Eva Fernndez Ortiz

Eva Fernández Ortiz is Foreign Affairs Journalist for the Women News Network and an Online Jouralist for BBC Worldwide. A native of Barcelona, Spain, Eva Fernández has an MA in journalism from Cardiff University, UK with a specialty in women and gender, current affairs and international development. In 2010 Fernández finished an in-depth study on the women of Cameroon, producing her thesis on female self-mutilation in ”Why breast ironing?’ – Women’s Rights and Gender Inequalities.’
