Emma Leathley

Emma joined the Center for Responsive Politics in the fall of 2017 following a period of academic study and journalistic exploration in the United Arab Emirates and in Jordan. She holds a certificate from the Center for Arabic Study Abroad, an advanced Arabic language training program, and a BA in Middle Eastern studies from New York University Abu Dhabi. She has completed several independent journalism projects, and in the future hopes to write about US power abroad and foreign influence in national politics.
