Courtney Parker

Courtney J. Parker is a Ph.D. student at the University of Georgia College of Public Health. Courtney has published academic writing on Indigenous community media and health, as well as journalistic and analytical pieces on Indigenous issues in Intercontinental Cry, Truthout and Indian Country Today Media Network. A former Federal Language and Area Studies Quechua Fellow, Courtney has traveled extensively in Latin America conducting participatory action human rights research. She’s worked as a Goizueta Foundation graduate scholar, full-time finance intern at The Carter Center and as a development intern at Truthout.
