Bella DePaulo, Ph.D., is the author of Singled Out: How Singles Are Stereotyped, Stigmatized, and Ignored, and Still Live Happily Ever After and writes the ‘Living Single‘ blog for Psychology Today. She is a project scientist at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her writings have appeared in publications such as The New York Times, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Forbes and Alternet.
