Andrue Kahn

Rabbi Andy Kahn (he/they), the executive director of the American Council for Judaism, grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and has lived in New York since 2009. Prior to receiving rabbinic ordination at HUC-JIR in 2018, he studied at Kenyon College, Ben Gurion University, Hebrew University, Queen’s University, and Jewish Theological Seminary. He served as associate rabbi at Congregation Emanu-El of the City of New York from 2018-2023, where he invigorated the 20s and 30s community, organized interfaith programming, and led people of all ages in deep Jewish learning geared toward spiritual development and tikkun olam.
