Andrew Whelton

Andrew Whelton is an assistant professor at Purdue University. Whelton responded to the West Virginia chemical spill with a volunteer research team and was tapped by West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin to provide assistance. He has been involved in disaster response and recovery research since 2002 when he worked for the U.S. Army.
