Alex Khasnabish

Alex Khasnabish teaches about movements, social change and engaged research at Mount Saint Vincent University, is the co-editor of Insurgent Encounters: Transnational Activism, Ethnography, and the Political, and is the author of Zapatistas: Rebellion from the Grassroots to the Global and Zapatismo Beyond Borders. With Max Haiven, he directs the Halifax-based Radical Imagination Project on Canada’s East Coast. Their book, The Radical Imagination: Social Movement Research in the Age of Austerity, is published by Zed Books.
