Communities Beyond Elections
Communities Beyond Elections offers a different lens through which to look at electoral politics.

Series Introduction
Communities Beyond Elections is an editorial partnership and hub site by the members of the Movement Media Alliance. Based on the principles of movement journalism, where journalism serves communities affected by oppression with the goal of liberation for all, Communities Beyond Elections offers a different lens through which to look at electoral politics. In collaboration with our members, we publish crucial and authentic narratives for movement-building where those most often left out of mainstream media are empowered to report from and alongside their communities.
Communities Beyond Elections gives people a home to inform themselves on how electoral politics, electoral justice, and election impacts affect them, a historical context to better understand political events, and community-driven solutions through which we can imagine and build a better future for all.
