Sharmila Rudrappa

Sharmila Rudrappa, a Public Voices fellow, is chairwoman of the Asia/Asian America Section of the American Sociological Association, and an associate professor in the sociology department at the University of Texas at Austin, where she’s also director of the Center for Asian American Studies.
