Ming Hsu Chen

Professor Ming Hsu Chen is an expert in immigration, citizenship, law and politics who has spent 15 years researching and teaching these subjects. Her new book, Pursuing Citizenship in the Enforcement Era (Stanford Press), is forthcoming in spring 2020. She is a professor at the University of Colorado and serves as faculty-director of the Immigration and Citizenship Law Program. She is a member of the Colorado Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Professor Chen holds doctoral degrees in law and politics from Harvard University, the University of California Berkeley and New York University Law School.
