Mike Lacy is a Nashville-based independent investigative journalist and activist who covers topics including surveillance, homelessness, and corruption. A former staffer of the Nashville mayor’s office, he was awarded Best Metro Watchdog in the Nashville Scene’s 2025 Best of Nashville.
