Lynne Peeples
Lynne Peeples writes about science, health and the environment from her home office in Seattle. As the environmental health reporter at The Huffington Post for nearly five years, she drove conversations and impacted policy on issues such as antibiotic resistance, climate change and the VA’s handling of veterans exposed to toxic chemicals. Her work has also appeared in Scientific American, Reuters, Popular Science, Audubon Magazine, Pharmacy Practice News and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Lynne completed a Master’s in science, health and environmental reporting from New York University, where she was the editor-in-chief of the program’s web magazine, Scienceline, and interned at Scientific American and Audubon Magazine. Before NYU, she worked for Harvard University crunching numbers for HIV clinical trials and environmental health studies, while teaching an introductory biostatistics course.
