Kathryn Green

Kathryn joined the Sheffield Institute for International Development as a postdoctoral research associate in April 2014. Her research interests span environment and development, natural resource governance, nature-society relations and political ecology. Prior to coming to Sheffield, Kathryn was a Senior Research Associate at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School. She completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2013. Kathryn’s research brings together work from political ecology, participatory development, policy studies and science and technology studies. Her research spans the international to local levels with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, and fieldwork experience in Tanzania.
