Eshe Ukweli

Eshe Ukweli is Frances Ellen Watkins Harper reporting fellow at The 19th. Before joining The 19th, she covered culture at INTO magazine. Her previous experience includes work with Refinery29, GLAAD and Queerty, and she was also a 2023 Discover The Unexpected journalism fellow for Chevrolet and the National Newspaper Publishing Association. She is a proud graduate of Howard University.
