Cherise Morris

Cherise Morris is a writer, interdisciplinary artist, and spiritual worker born and raised in rural Virginia. Her essays have appeared in The Iowa Review, Longreads, The Feminist Wire, Winter Tangerine, Bustle and Fourth Genre and twice been recognized as notable works of literary nonfiction in The Best American Essays Series 2018 and 2019. She is currently at work on her debut book.
