Angela Glover Blackwell
Angela is founder and CEO of PolicyLink, a national research and action institute advancing economic and social equity. Prior to founding PolicyLink, Angela served as senior vice president at the Rockefeller Foundation, where she oversaw the foundation’s domestic and cultural divisions. A lawyer by training, she gained national recognition as founder of the Oakland (CA) Urban Strategies Council, where she pioneered new approaches to neighborhood revitalization. Angela is a leading voice in racial and social equity and a frequent commentator in print and broadcast, in such venues as The New York Times, Huffington Post, Washington Post, Bill Moyers, PBS NewsHour, and CNN.
