Alejandro Lara-Briseno

Alejandro Lara-Briseno is an Indigenous rights activist. He is Mexica (Aztec) and practices danza ceremonies. He studies with Mayan elders, and with elders within the Native American Church. He studied, as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, and as a graduate student at the University of Oxford, the resiliency of migrant communities and the rise of the US for-profit deportation industry.
