Abigail Boggs

Abigail Boggs is an Assistant Professor of Sociology and Education Studies and affiliated faculty in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Wesleyan University. Her research examines international students, labor, immigration, race, and the history and politics of U.S. higher education. She is the author of Degrees of Empire: Noncitizen Students and the Making of U.S. Higher Education and a coauthor of “Abolitionist University Studies: An Invitation.” Her writing has appeared in Feminist Studies, History of the Present, Abolition, the Journal of Academic Freedom, and The Abusable Past, as well as in the collection University Keywords.
