Marienna Pope-Weidemann
Marienna Pope-Weidemann is a writer, filmmaker and activist based in London. She graduated from SOAS University of London with a BA in Politics & International Development and has since worked as a producer, current affairs reporter and political organizer.
At university, she was an active antiwar campaigner and helped found the Student Assembly Against Austerity. Since graduating she has also helped to launch the Brick Lane Debates project and This Changes Everything UK.
She is currently producing an independent documentary on migration and the European Crisis. For more information see ‘Europe 2015.’
