Erin Rode is a climate change reporter at Generation Progress. A Los Angeles native, Erin is a current student at the University of Southern California, pursuing a dual degree in journalism and environmental studies. Erin’s passion for journalism began with her high school newspaper; she believes that journalists have the power to incite change. In addition to interning with Generation Progress, Erin is also interning with the Los Angeles Times’ data department. After college, she plans on serving with the Peace Corps before attending law school. In her scarce free time, Erin can usually be found climbing mountains or reading for fun.
