Dr. Cutcha Risling Baldy is an assistant professor of American Indian Studies at San Diego State University. She is also the author of a popular blog that explores contemporary Native American politics and culture. She is Hupa, Karuk and Yurok and enrolled in the Hoopa Valley Tribe.
