“I never expected the ultra-MAGA Republicans who seemed to control the Republican Party now,” Biden said on Monday.

The Congressional Workers Union, which has been organizing for over a year, is urging members to vote “yes.”
The GOP attack on “Roe” was enabled by a Democratic Party that intentionally deprioritized reproductive rights.
Three conservative justices confirmed over the past five years suggested they’d respect the precedents in Roe v. Wade.
The legislation to formally authorize the union was introduced over two months ago, but has yet to be brought to a vote.
Lawmakers have reportedly begun requesting testimony from government watchdog groups.
The Congressional Workers Union praised the resolution, noting that Congress members should live up to their own ideals.
The announcement came after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed support for unionizing staffers.
Pelosi previously pledged that she would not seek to remain Speaker of the House beyond the current congressional term.
