Daymon Hartley was a staff photographer for the Detroit Free Press and freelancer for corporate, labor, government, nonprofit and private clients. In addition to Detroit, he has covered the Middle East and the political turmoil in Central America. He is five-time nominee and two-time runner-up for the Pulitzer Prize, was named Michigan Press Photographer of the Year and has received dozens of awards from the AP, UPI, MPPA and the Detroit Press Club.
