Dylan Rodríguez

Dylan Rodríguez is a professor in the Department of Black Study and the Department of Media and Cultural Studies at the University of California, Riverside, where he co-directs the Center for Ideas and Society; an inaugural 2020 Freedom Scholar; past president of the American Studies Association; and former chair of the UC Riverside Academic Senate. He is the author of three books, most recently White Reconstruction: Domestic Warfare and the Logic of Racial Genocide (Fordham University Press, winner of the 2022 Frantz Fanon Book Award from the Caribbean Philosophical Association) and Suspended Apocalypse: White Supremacy, Genocide, and the Filipino Condition (University of Minnesota Press).
