Aviva Chomsky

Aviva Chomsky is professor of history and coordinator of Latin American Studies at Salem State University in Massachusetts. Her many books include, most recently, Central America’s Forgotten History: Revolution, Violence, and the Roots of Migration (Beacon Press, 2021) and Is Science Enough? Forty Critical Questions about Climate Justice (Beacon Press, 2022). She has been active in Latin America and Palestine solidarity since the 1980s.
