Ashley Balcerzak

Ashley Balcerzak is the money-in-politics reporter for the Center for Responsive Politics’ OpenSecrets Blog. Before joining the Center for Responsive Politics in July 2016, Ashley covered state and local politics at a national level at the Center for Public Integrity. She also worked with The Washington Post investigative team on their police shootings database. She earned her undergraduate degree in journalism at Northwestern University and her master’s at American University. Ashley’s work can be found in The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Slate, TIME, Men’s Health and The Huffington Post.
