Andrew Donohue

Andrew Donohue is a senior editor for Reveal, overseeing reporting on the environment, food and emerging threats. His team has been responsible for Reveal’s investigations into the strawberry industry’s reliance on dangerous pesticides, public housing squalor and the environmental toll of Superfund cleanup. Previously, Donohue helped build and lead Voice of San Diego, a pioneering news outlet that has become a model for investigative reporting in the digital age. For his reporting and editing, he has won the Investigative Reporters and Editors Award and the Society of Professional Journalists’ Sigma Delta Chi. Under his watch, Voice of San Diego won the Online News Association’s General Excellence Award and was named the urban innovation leader for California by Fast Company magazine. He was a John S. Knight fellow at Stanford University and serves on the IRE board of directors. Donohue is based in Reveal’s Emeryville, California, office.
